A one-day-only experience to discover how Taiwan’s new generation of distillers, and chefs are redefining tradition with innovation and artistry.
From mountain vineyards to island seas, from heritage spirits to modern cocktails—this is Taiwan in a glass, and on a plate. Ni Fon Kitchen and Leona are joining forces for an intimate afternoon celebrating Taiwan’s terroir and craftsmanship — one sip and bite at a time. Our award winning wine expert Leona introduces Taiwan’s dynamic craft spirits scene. The Ni Fon Kitchen Cocktail master Costel Spasenie will craft three original cocktails featuring Perfumer’s Gin, Kavalan Whisky, and Kinmen Kaoliang, paired with the restaurant’s signature Taiwanese “tapas”. Cocktail highlights: 🍸 The Sea Breeze — Perfumer’s Gin Varec × Stewed Kelp: a coastal collaboration with World Gin Award–winning distiller Ann Scheffer. 🍸 Formosa Old Fashion — Kavalan Whisky × Whisky Boba: a playful twist on a timeless classic. 🍸 Mulled Dark Plum Kaoliang — Kinmen Kaoliang × Smoked Plum: a warming seasonal cocktail inspired by island traditions. Alongside these comes Ni Fon Kitchen’s “Five Fortunes to Your Door” — a quintet of Taiwanese small plates embodying the island’s spirit of harmony and depth of flavour. 🎟️ Tickets: £30 ( Limited seats only)
